First, what is this City of Pure Gold? What was the intention of the writer of the book of Revelation?
Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
1.How to understand scripture
To understand scripture one must use the simple approach of comparing scripture to scripture, and allowing the bible to speak for itself see: revelationunderstoodcommentary.com.
Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little
Isaiah 28:13 But the word of YHWH was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of YHWH, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves
Using these principles, in the book of revelation we see a lot of fantastic images being painted, this was intentional, Yahuwchanon was writing a prophetic message to the faithfull of yhwh.
The message was to show Yisreal what was to take place in the last days (probably now 2017) to strenghten them in the face of adversity, and to remind them that the end had already been seen and foretold by the Prophet Daniel.
Yahuwshua had already seen what was coming and was giving his servants insight on how to overcone all adversity. this is the setting of the book of revelation where our building lies
2.Using undertsnding to decipher the City of Pure Gold
Now that we have laid the foundation by setting the imagery of this prophecy lets examine what a follower of yhwh should consider gold.
Pro16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Prov 8:19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
22 YHWH possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
1Pet 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Yahushua the Messiah
Mat 6: 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also
Witnesses one and two tell us what real treasure is in the sight of yhwh. If its better to get wisdom than gold, then is it not that which is tried by fire, and purified as gold that is gold? Is this pure gold, clear as glass not Isreal?
Well anyone who expects a gold building to come flying from the sky and flip flop somewhere in the Mediterranean will most probably end up being deeply dissapointed. Because thats obviously not the focus of scripture. Scripture tells us that the kingdom is within us.
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of YHWH is within you.
1Cor 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with YHWH: ye are YHWH’s husbandry, ye are YHWH’s building.
10 According to the favour of YHWH which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
11 But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahushua the Messiah.
Witness 1 tells us the kingdom is inside us, only when we look inside and see wisdom can we begin to comprehend our worth in the eyes of the creator, we are worth more than gold, we are the place of his habitation, where yhwh’s City abides. Is not a kingdom more than a mere city?
Witness 2 tells us that we are the bulding blocks, this kingdom is within you, and the city is a mere part of the kingdom. You are more than the City of Pure Gold you are the dwelling place of the ruach hakodesh. Your actions deternmine what you – a personal building block are -(gold, clay, grass) and we will all be able to find out what we really are when we are tried by fire.
We the individuals of Yisreal by the mercy of yhwh are the building blocks, we are each of us as a kingdom, more than a city. When we come together as one we are even more fortified as a than cities and kingdoms. With shining walls of Pure Gold, where mankind sees reflected the wickedness of their hearts, and they are unable to enter.
3. What ridiculous assertions show us more proof.
Yes please do not accept what I’m saying as the gospel, you can read! So go ahead so your own research. Now to seal up the matter lets examine one more aspect of this city, this new Yarushalem.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the set-apart city, new Jerusalem, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Jeremiah 3:20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith YHWH.
21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten YHWH their Elohim.
22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art YHWH our Elohim.
23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in YHWH our Elohim is the salvation of Israel.
24 For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against YHWH our Elohim, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of YHWH our Elohim.
Isaiah 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith YHWH.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; YHWH of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Set-apart One of Israel; The Elohim of the whole earth shall he be called.
6 For YHWH hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy Elohim.
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith YHWH thy Redeemer.
9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith YHWH that hath mercy on thee.
11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
13 And all thy children shall be taught of YHWH; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of YHWH, and their righteousness is of me, saith YHWH.
Isaiah 62: 1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of YHWH shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of YHWH, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohim.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for YHWH delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of YHWH, keep not silence
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 YHWH hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise YHWH; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, YHWH hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The set-apart people, The redeemed of YHWH: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
Witness 1 tells us the city is yhwh’s bride, and Witness 2 Jeremiah clearly tells us that this bride is Yisreal. See –TheWayPrepared.com .This bride is not a piece of land, no! This bride is a man, its a nation. Yisreal.
Rev 21:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
This “city” is not about earthly posessions, its not about treasures or trinklets or riches, physical gold cannot be transfered into a pure form. The City of Pure Gold is about Yisreal the building blocks. Halleluyah
